Antitrust clears vegetable oil maker Blago to buy Yug Sibiri
MOSCOW, Jan 23 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service has approved an application by structures of vegetable oil producer Blago to buy Yug Sibiri, the antitrust said on Monday on its Telegram channel.
According to the authority, the deal will not limit competition on the Russian sunflower seed oil market.
Yug Sibiri was the largest vegetable oil maker on the south of Russia. Its parent holding company was declared bankrupt in April 2019. Promsvyazbank was the principal collateral creditor. Rusagro wanted to purchase Yug Sibiri, but the deal was not signed.
